Privacy Policy

Scratch Map ("the app") is made by Solvra Studio. It is built to keep your travel history private. This policy explains what the app stores and where.

What the app stores

Where it is stored

On your device, and — if you're signed in to iCloud — in your own private iCloud database and iCloud key-value storage, so your map syncs between your Apple devices and survives reinstalling. Solvra Studio cannot access your iCloud data. There is no Scratch Map account and no Scratch Map server holding your map.

Together links

When you tap Share my map, the app creates a link containing your chosen first name and the list of places you've marked. That link goes only to the people you send it to. The map data sits in the part of the link after "#", which browsers never send to our web server. Anyone you share the link with can see that map; you can stop sharing updates at any time by not sending new links.

Backups

If you create a backup, it's a file you save wherever you choose (for example Google Drive, Dropbox or Files). That provider's own privacy policy applies to the copy you store there.

Analytics and tracking

The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not use your location. You mark places yourself.

Purchases

Scratch Map Pro is purchased through Apple. Payment details are handled by Apple; we only learn from the App Store whether Pro is active on your Apple Account.

Notifications

If you turn on the monthly reminder, it is scheduled on your device. No notification data is sent to us.

Deleting your data

Settings → Erase my map removes your places and Together people from your devices and iCloud. Deleting the app removes local data; iCloud data can also be removed in your device's iCloud settings.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
